An Explanation
What to Expect
Everyone is very welcome to any or all of the meetings listed below. If you are a first time visitor however we would recommend that you plan to join us on Sundays at 4.15pm for our family service.
Breaking of Bread
Sundays 10.00am
Each Lord’s day we gather to remember the Lord in obedience to His command (1 Corinthians 11). We pray, read the Bible and members of the church will share the bread and the wine.
Footsteps / Bible Class
Sundays 12:00pm
Each Sunday afternoon we hold our Footsteps Sunday School for school-aged children and our Bible Class for the adults.
Family Service
Sundays 4:15pm
At our gospel meeting each Sunday, God’s way of salvation through faith alone in the Lord Jesus Christ is preached. We recommend this meeting for first time visitors.
Our Coffee Morning
tuesdays 10:00am
Join us each Tuesday morning for a free coffee and a chat – you would be very welcome!
Prayer and Bible Teaching
tuesdays 7.30pm
Each Tuesday evening we split the meeting between a time of prayer and a time for Bible teaching on a variety of subjects and passages.
Noah’s Ark (Toddler Group)
Wednesdays 10:00am
Join us each Wednesday morning for a free coffee and a chat – you would be very welcome!
Monthly Bible Teaching
3rd Saturday of the month 7.30pm
From October until March each year we hold special Bible teaching meetings on the 3rd Saturday of the month where visiting speakers from across the UK visit us to encourage us from God’s Word.
The EGH Community Choir
Thursdays 7:00pm
Our EGH community choir meets on alternate Thursday evenings at 7.00pm for practice and a time of conversation.
